Reclaim the Seeds is a collective that organizes around topics of seed sovereignty and food autonomy in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We aim to support a resilient food system in Amsterdam and beyond by focusing on seed sovereignty. Our projects and initiatives, especially our annual festival, offer a grassroots alternative to the privatization and neoliberalization of food and seed networks.

Our collective is volunteer-run! We believe that building a network of solidarity and working alongside other collectives can make us stronger together. If you want to collaborate with us or join us as a volunteer, please reach out! You can reach us by email at info@reclaimtheseeds-amsteram.nl

Reclaim the Seeds Festival

The Reclaim the Seeds Festival is a platform for sharing knowledge, exchanging seeds, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. It brings together farmers, gardeners, activists, and community members to advocate for a fairer and more resilient food system.

We invite you to participate in workshops, lectures, and hands-on sessions focusing on key issues such as seed diversity, agricultural activism, and the impact of industrial farming practices. Together, we can work towards a future where everyone has access to healthy food rooted in local communities.
